Cities United Black History Month Event

 

This event was an overwhelming success by all means. It was attended by students from different schools and backgrounds. It was coordinated by students from the Brooklyn Park Sound-Off station, Let's Rap Mentoring, and the Cities United team.

 

The purpose of the event was to:

• Improve the understanding of black history month

• Create dialogues around the theme of “diversity enriches community”

• Gain young people’s perspectives on current events
